In March, 2007, Ashland Fortune states accreditation will be achieved by the end of the year. The department has never achieved accreditation.
In April, 2007, Ashland Fortune and Donnie Lowe (Chief Deputy) Stated repeatedly that accreditation was the "primary goal" of the Office for at least 7 years and re-iterated that it would be completed by the fall of that election year.
